Long, long time ago, we used to be based upon Snitz 2000 Forum Software (Active Server Pages). This provided an excellent Active Topics function for which we didn't find a comparable function within our current software Community Server.
Well...
Community Server did develop - but didn't publicise - the very thing we thought lacking from Community Server that Snitz provided.
If you now check the menu above, you can see the
Active Topics button:
HOWEVER - there are a few issues to resolve:
- I need to fix the menu code such that "Active Topics" is the "active" menu; not too important, but a valid niggly complaint.
- The time period value (e.g. New since last visit) doesn't persist. (Needs a cookie or equivalent)
- The Active Topics page really needs a timer to auto-refresh in X-minutes, such as Refresh every 5-mins, 15-mins, 1-hour.
