Well this is another area where the use of bar coding Microsoft Tags would have come in handy. Certainly the retailers will do their part, but having a cell phone to scan and find would be marvelous and what if they miss some products and are still on the shelves? Depending on the retailer...

Other factory locations are slated to pick up some of the manufacturing as the factory will more than likely be closed until about this time next year according to this article. It takes time to get a whole new lot of machines in place, and at the same time add some new technology as that is always...

Recalls of both medical devices and drugs are growing for a number of reasons. First of all, we have a lot more information available today than what we have ever had and we need to capitalize on this opportunity quickly. We read in the news every day it seems about quality control...

As consumers this would be nice to be able to scan products and not have to worry about missing a recall post somewhere on the news. There will be other drug and device recalls too so the sooner we have this capability the sooner we can get our information, not to mention making compliance...

If you are a regular reader here at the Quack, I have had a small campaign going on with posts about how this technology could solve a lot of issues, main one being some ideas with recalls at the FDA. Microsoft Tags was kind enough today to include my thoughts today so in case you are not on Twitter...

I really like this technology and it is interesting to see it emerge in entertainment and I would like to see this same technology save lives too, if we can wake up the FDA and some of the drug and device companies to at least take a look. Scan that stent before it is used in surgery in case it...
