AL,
Very nice find. I agreed with most of the article. Especially the part about integrating the old record. Many Systems don't even offer a real good solution even if you have the resources to get it in the chart.
I did not agree that the Smaller Vendors are unable to integrate new technologies into the product as fast as the big software manufactures. Everyone knows that smaller vendors can build more techonology features in the application faster then bigger user based application software because of the number of users effected by change. Legacy applications suffer countless hours working on this. Once done though, larger manufactures have very professional implementation of these technologies built Ford Tough or Industrial, however you want to view it.

Thanks Al for the resource, and Brendon for the follow-up
Therefore -- Robert ('s personal assistant) has created a new Links and Resources section where we can periodically add these articles and resources. I do want to link back to the originating Forum Post (that recommends a link) so that Doctors can weigh the relevance and argument for and against whatever a resources sets out. This I think lends more value to Linked Resource giving a weight to its worth on the forum.

If you have a link or resource to recommend, post it into the EMR forum for peer review and comment. We eventually get around to picking up the good links and keeping these in a resources location.

Nice idea, Nick! If an article gets Brendon and I to agree 80%, it's got to be well written...
