PatientOS version 0.75 integrates iReport, an enterprise reportwriter, with the functionality to create unlimited numbers of reports- both standalone SQL based reports and reports from PatientOSgenerated XML leveraging system business logic.JFreeChart has also been integrated and may be embedded into clinicalforms to dynamically generate and display charts and graphs.The system default registration forms can be overridden with customforms created using a dynamic form generating wizard. Clinical formshave also been replaced with this new style content tool in a steptowards Physician Documentation slated for version 0.80.Configuration, setup and internationalization properties have beensimplified. The calendar schedule supports a custom columnconfiguration and appointments spread over multiple slots. ThePrescription Wizard has been further enhanced to include indications,improved dispensing information and a new Prescription printcapability.
As an example a university took a motion sensor device and interfaced the discrete values into PatientOS using Mirth. The resulting form is shown below with the embedded chart dynamically created from those values.
