Ear Syringing-How not to get soaked

Dear All: I have an old style ear syringer that I have used for many years. With the occasional patient given the shape of their ear canals, the thickness/hardness of the wax plug etc., I will still get a spray of water. Does anyone know of any new devices/ techniques they would recommend to make things easier? Thanks

The best solution I have found is the Elephant Earwash  http://www.medicalmailorder.com/browseproducts/Elephant-Ear-Wash-System.HTML   It has a soft flexible tip that can go deep into the ear, the pump is efficient, and it works better than the old stainless steel ear syringes.  Highly recommended.

This is what we use and it is so efficient and professional appearing. Pricey but it pays for itself in less than a week depending on how many irrigations/disimpaction you do a day or week.
