I have just posted our very first press release in our new forum,

Press & Announcements

Press Releases and Announcements from EMR Vendors and Industry
Please subscribe to and visit this forum daily for all future press releases received from vendors. This will put all the "hard news" from vendors in one place for easier reference and referral. We are of course open to comments regarding this new system of presenting the vendor news which is sent to us for posting. How we will handle the vendor news posted by vendors on their own, and will we now move all past press releases to this new forum? This is under discussion.

I think this is a good development - something that might surprise some people on this board as I have posted our PRs with more and more frequency. If you go back (and there is no reason why you would want to) and read my early posts on the PR thing, you will see that I was against posting PRs. I began posting our stuff in part to "encourage" Robert to take the step that he has - a separate forum. Now that he has, I will be happy to post our PRs there and if Robert wants to move all our old stuff, that would be fine with me. The only caveat I might offer is sometimes a PR does serve as a basis for a good discussion. At Robert's discretion, I think he should leave open the possibiity that he would move such a thread to the main EMR forum.

Does this mean that there will soon be a separate forum for the anti-vendor propaganda crew?Stick out tongue (sorry Robert - I couldn't resist...
