mrbig:Can anyone recommend a messaging system that functions like "instant messenger" or similar which work outside of the EMR. Many people in our office will use the computer for diferent functions but will be not using an EMR.
Try Google Talk within Google Apps.
It's free and effective. We use it internally here.
