gchiu: I've started work on a light weight browser interface to Synapse now. It's only into its second week or so, so there isn't much to see. http://www.compkarori.co.nz:8000 Intended for use when the Synapse rich gui client is not available, or even for technically challenged users. Now i'm using an accordion to display the encounters ... Jason doesn't like it has different needs. Maybe he's right?? Comments?

Hey Hey.
I love the Jquery - Super Peppy. Virtually no wait.
Leveraging the browser to have "Patient Data: Anytime, Anywhere" is super helpful. Making it Open Source - even Better ! If I want to add another "view" of my patient as it fits my needs, I can do it.
Form follows function.
We differ on the content we want - that's all !

Jason likes his dual display setup where he works with Synapse in one screen, and has his results display on a separate screen. Of course this setup requires a dual head video card .. not common on laptops.
However, somewhat better than this is to have multiple monitors each on different PCs where different parts of the record are displayed in different screens.
The latest Synapse build makes a start on this. You can now specify a single slave PC which is controlled by the Synapse client. Results are displayed by the slave PC rather than on the main ( laptop ). So this gives us multiple CPUs and speeds up the Synapse client by offloading tasks to the slaves. And there is no limit to the number of slave PCs I can add

Four years today since I started working on Synapse ... time for another video which shows my venture into integrating Googledocs into the web portal.
