Hi I'm new to this forum.  I'm currently using basic medisoft V.11, service pack II.  Is my version is able to convert old hcfa 1500 form to new cms 1500, both paper and text file forms.  I upload my claims to Webmd in HCFA11 text file, but occasionally do use paper claims as well.  I have heard a lot about using new cms 1500 paper form after May.07, but not yet e-claim yet  ( which is based on print image of old hcfa 1500 form).  Unless there is new medisoft v.12 coming??  Thank you the help..

Version 12 is in the works, but all you need is version 11 service pack 3. The target date for the service pack 3 release is later this month. The Medisoft service pack will be a free download and I plan to post it on my website as soon as it is available.

Hi Gwalker:

Thank you for your inside info.  One of my local carriers  Harvard Pilgrim will not accept HCFA 1500 form after 02/01/07.  So this is pushing really close.
