To take advantage of Medicare reimbursements for well visits, , MTBC has introduced the well visit reminder service. For practices to utilize this service, the staff needs to contact MTBC and indicate when the provider’s staff will be available to receive inbound calls.
Once MTBC knows this information, they will generate automatic calls to the patients that are eligible for well visit reminders. Once the patient answes and indicates their interest in having this well visit call scheduled, MTBC will transfer that call to the provider’s office so the well visit can be scheduled.
The service helps providers generate additional revenue, particularly in light of Medicaid reimbursements for annual well visits.
