CBS is initially donating some of the $20 &lt;span style="text-decoration:line-through;"&gt;cards&lt;/span&gt; thumb drives, but soon thereafter they&amp;#39;ll cost the consumer, when a 4GB eBay thumb drive now costs less than $8.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How is that better than PHR initiatives like Google&amp;#39;s which is completely FREE and available on the &amp;#39;net? You don&amp;#39;t have to carry a web PHR. You can better password protect a webpage than a dongle that can be lost, stolen, or misused. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My crystal ball says that this MedeFile idea is not going anywhere anytime soon. Interestingly, CNET mentions both on the same news blog site &lt;a href="http://news.cnet.com/8301-10784_3-9875967-7.html"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
