DallasDoc, Sevocity only has screen shots on our website, not a demo. Have you seen a demo? It looks from your posts that you either work for eMDs or you are a customer with a lot of input/access. We would be glad to do a demo for you if you are in the market for an EHR. Our product does not use the "body" process that I understand Catalis uses. We are more of a "traditional" EHR. However, we have taken great pains to make our product as easy-to-use as possible. There are no magic bullets for this that I am aware of, however, we believe that constant attention to usability, or as we say "embarace-ability" does make a difference. We try to do the little things right, be consistent and offer outstanding support. We believe it all adds up to making EHR a worthwhile experience. We are 100% ASP and therefore have to earn our customer's business every day.
Thanks,
C Huddle

You need to take a closer look at your website. There is a button that says "demo" that links to a video. Certainly more of a demo than is found on most EMR websites. I do not work for any EMR company. I am a full time doc. I have no doubt that you have worked hard at making your product easy to use. I was merely commenting on previous posts suggesting that Sevocity has similar features to another EMR. (I don't want to say any names because of how it might be misconstrued by anyone reading this post as sarcastic and antagonistic thus potentially leading to legal threats.)
You might lure me in if you promise to take me to Alamo Cafe for lunch and Aldo's for dinner. (I thought it best to pick something close)
DallasDoc,

Don't worry you are already in the "doghouse" with me because of our comments of a certain company. I will meet you for Margharitas/beers at your Alamo place in Texas.
But for know - place nice in the "sandbox" or else you will get a PM.
DallasDoc, Thanks for the clarification on the demo - yes there's the demo button and with it a power point "demo". I stand corrected. The demo is several releases old as the website has not been updated while the new one was under construction. We have a new website coming out before the end of the month. It will not have a demo initially but we are working on an updated demo for later publication.
Lunch and Dinner! You want to turn me into a drug rep two times over? I'm afraid we don't do bribes and fortunately don't have to but if you'd like us to come to your office and do a demo over lunch (that a drug rep brings!) we'd be more than happy to do so.
No slight intended about lunch and dinner. Not intending to suggest you bribe anyone. Just thinking of some good places to eat around your offices in San Antonio.
DallasDoc, I tried to reply but I think my post was zapped. I was just kidding about "bribery". I would never pass up great mexican food or a good margarita. If you're seriously interested in an EHR for your practice, please email me.
All, since this post is becoming off-topic, I'll stop posting on this subject. Sevocity doesn't claim to be like another EHR. We do claim to have a very easy-to-use and affordable EHR backed by outstanding support. If you're interested in more information and/or a demo, please email me or email sales@sevocity.com.
You will love the Sevocity EMR!
Randy Lipscher was actually a major problem after the product went to market. He has VERY little to do with the company now, though he is the majority stockholder. Acellerator is an awesome product which needs to be stabilized. There are things in the works that can revive this company and put it at the head of the pack where it belongs.

I saw a Catalis demo last year and I was very impressed. Now that I am back to looking at EMRs, I have read some pretty dismal news about Catalis (mostly no news, with what little there is looking dismal). Are you using or selling Catalis? I just wondered where you got your information from. I would love to see Catalis back on its feet.

Religious beliefs have little connectionn to the reality of the market place.

Is the Catalis scam still active?
How did they get delisted from CCHIT? They no longer function in this market.
It lurks and lives. It will die soon enough! Product good but bad management from day 1. Its almost kaput.
Have you noticed that the armchair experts on EMRupdate have dropped pushing the Catalis scam? On to Amazing Charts! Until that fails for real doctors.

No one here suggested Catalis was a good EMR.
I think AC can work for select 1-2 doctor groups on the short term, especially if you want to keep paper charts like Jon the founder of AC does.
StLuke:We have about 6 OB/GYNs now on eClinicalWorks, and they are very happy with it.
eCW is a reasonable EMR despite it not working well for DrK/Lowell's solo practice. AC is not suitable for 6 OBs. AC is fine for certain solo docs. eCW isn't without it's detractors.
My EMR is: Synapse It is what we know already that often prevents us from learning. Pioneers are the ones with the arrows in their backs.
