Greetings,

I am a solo pediatrician in NC starting my own practice at the beginning of the year and am currently looking intto an all inclusive scheduling, EMR, and billing system. I have received a quote from misys, however recently have heard some not so good things about their product. I am going to the AAP convention in Boston next week and hope to see some other systems up close. I would love to hear about others thought son this topic.

We've beaten this puppy to death.

Please read all the previous information by searching for "Pediatric EMR".

You'd have to be crazy to go solo with Misys.  Misys might be a reasonable EMR, but it's not in the top 20.

If your going to the AAP meeting, check out Office Practicum. They will be having a booth and will be in the competions.  As a pediatrician an a long time user, I can't ever think of my second choice. Check out my prevous postings.

This kind of seperates it from the crowd as a pediatric EMR

I've been using Office Practicum for over 4 years now . Very satisfied with it as a solo peds.

They will be at booth 825 at the NCE in Boston (they are also known as Connexin Software).

You should try to find emr using peds practices to check them out before you buy.

Hello Doctor,

So, how did the AAP go for you?  Did you have a chance to review some EMR solutions at the conference?  I represent a medical software consulting firm with offices in FL, SC and NC.  We provide comprehensive medical software solutions and consulting services to help practices become paperless and run at maximum efficiency.  We offer affordable prices and have consultants based in the Greenville, NC area. I think you will find our pricing to be a fraction of what you've been previously quoted.  Our solutions are flexible and may be customized to your specific needs, so you are not paying for something you don't necessarily need at this point. I encourage you to take a closer look at our solutions and services.  You may visit www.encounternotes.com for more information, and I would be happy to arrange for a live, onsite or online demonstration of our solutions with one of our local consultants.
