I took a look at your blog.
Thanks for the visit, and yes it is a lot of work. A lot of the links are just ones included to be helpful, but can always use more advertisers though. Lately the fan mail has been real interesting with being over saturated with requests for interviews too. I have had a run on just doctors, regular practices and not big commercial companies asking for interviews and I think like anything else they would like some exposure too. I have had more tell me they can offer expert information on H1N1, which they probably can, but if every post focused on the flu, well you can figure out where the readers would go:)
I had one EMR vendor who I referred to visit here as I post about some EMR business news, but not to the extent done here. To take the time and interview all the EMR companies out there I would not get much done otherwise with the clinical and other interviews. I try to cover a bit of everything in the healthcare business and keep the humor section up and going too, that one is important:) If there's valuable information in the way of new products, new surgical procedures, etc. I'll go with it so keep everyone informed, but some of the others just don't quite fit. I have some real strange ones too that barely border on healthcare, so there's no shortage on available material, but quality information is what I look to post.

Thanks much for the kind words! Will have some new interviews in the upcoming weeks too. Was asked by Microsoft if they could use my interview with Mike Namoli, head of US Life Sciences from their main website too, I about fell off my chair on that one. Dont know when it will happen, but was excited just due to the fact they asked.

For those of you who will listen..... your best defense against the flu is your own strong immune system! Eat well, exercise, minimize stress, laugh, meditate, stay out of debt (causes stress) and keep positive frame of mind. You will stay healthy.
Have we all had enough Swine Flu yet? Wait a minute, I'm not supposed to say that it is "H1N1", a couple months back I received an email telling me not to use pigs or use the name Swine Flu as it is hurting the sale of pork! This came from the American Meat council, oh well, I guess they have bigger fish to fry than my little blog, as everyone else is still in the circle:)
I posted a link to the Homeland Security Video about it and I don't normally put a lot of faith into what the government always puts out there, but this video I thought was pretty good and objective without necessarily creating a scare at the same time. Anyway, I posted it over at the blog and it takes about 30 minutes to watch and features a doctor that I have interviewed on the blog, Dr. Schwartz who I think is pretty down to earth as she put in her time in Brooklyn, NY when when she started as an MD, and my conversation with her was pretty much the same with not a lot of nonsense with the patient being the focus.
What I liked about the video is that it explains the vaccine we are getting in the US and how it is different from those that other countries are using too, based on our politics and drive for profits. At least you somewhat know what to expect if you get one.
I strongly suggest you all read my announcement before injecting ANYONE with that vaccine this fall!
I've dedicated part of my summer researching this Vaccine and others.Have a look at my announcement and do some research and then tell me if you plan on taking the Vaccine!

PS why do you think that most nurses and Doctors in the UK and Canada refuse to take it?..or for that matter any other flu shot that is offered?..what do they know that you don't????

To "gchiu" and "cyath" No, I am not the same person as "connecting dots" but I agree with him or her. No I do not know that cytokine storm but I will take a look see.
So we are clear, I have not seen the inside of a medical office any kind in over 6 years. I am in my early nineties and feel great. I stay young by constantly learning new skills and staying busy. I volunteer bit of my time. I do not own a television. I don't smoke or drink alcohol. I eat good food, some of which comes from my garden. I walk my dog for 2 hours every day unless we have a storm. I do 50 pushups and 50 situps every morning. I spend time in prayer every day. Most of my friends that I have grown up with are long gone. But as I recall, some of them laughed at my life style while popping pills prescribed by doctors. All can say is, doctors and hospitals are dangerous to your health.

Congratulations to you, you're almost a centenarian. They say that with age comes wisdom, but now you're making me doubt that. Tell us, what life experiences taught you that it was wise to join a forum frequented by doctors and tell them that they are dangerous to one's health? Perhaps you should also join a forum frequented by lawyers and remind them that lawyers and courtrooms serve no justice to our society.
Just to be clear, you say that good clean living is the answer to a long healthy life. Okay. Will you please do me a favor? Will you go to your local Children's Hospital in your community and tell those kids on the Pediatric Cancer ward and tell those kids that if only they had lived a clean life that they would have never gotten cancer? Then head on over to cystic fibrosis ward, and then over to the the juvenile arthritis clinic, and so on.

But before I go let me tell you this,A few years ago i saw 2 UFO's while picking Gourmet mushrooms in Canada's Westcoast Rain forest..Ya i know UFO's and Aliens Don't exist!...i heard many times before so you wouldn't be the first to tell me so!..but anyhow after seeing them I embark on a search for the truth regarding UFO's,2012,ect..So this is where I got mixed up with conspiracies...I hadn't really heard of them before and like most people I got my info/news/views from the news at 6 pm.however once I embarked that changed...and lucky for me it was right before the market crashed in Sept. '08.Having listened conspiracies i made my own predictions in late winter of 2008...and THEY ALL came true...except for one...the fall of the American dollar..and the only reason it didn't happen is due the numerous Bail-outs that have occurred since.well that's about to change..watch and see in November!..market crash again...If I were you I would invest in Gold Bullion!..but then again what do I know...I listen to conspiracies!..did you read my announcement?
