• Re: Help Please! Amazing Charts Clarification

We are developing the interface between Medisoft and MyWay called Vigor Billing Interface for Medisoft. We are passing messages back and forth and hope to have it live within a few weeks. If you want to use Medisoft for the billing and practice management we can host that for you. We'll throw in...

  • Re: Medinotes users are often quite happy.

I still like my MediNotes. It does everything I need. I am going to keep using it. Here's the problem: It is still running on the same old XP box that I installed it on 'bout seven years ago. I need to figure out a way to keep it going without having to do a reinstall since I'm sure the passwords...

  • Re: Lytec vs. Medisoft vs. Other

The mwopt table has a field called Database Version, that you can reference if your product is specific to a particular version of Medisoft. If you are connecting to the tables using the data dictionary that was added on Medisoft v10, you should be fairly confident that you are connecting to Medisoft...

  • Re: Lytec vs. Medisoft vs. Other

We have found the core Medisoft, Office Hours, and Advantage database to all work just fine on 64-bit Windows. Although it is not officially supported by McKesson yet, we support it. I would recommend you go with Windows 7 Pro because it networks easier and you can run incompatible apps in XP Mode. With...

  • Re: Lytec vs. Medisoft vs. Other

I can tell you that Medisoft v15 is compatible with Vista 32-bit. I have setup plenty of these. When Medisoft starts up it attempts to "call home" to look for updates, etc. There is probably an incompatibility that is preventing this from happening. Look for firewall pop-ups asking to allow...

  • Re: Lytec vs. Medisoft vs. Other
I needed to reinstall Medisoft v15 on our Vista 32 Bit computer, but when the Medisoft application is loading, it hangs and does not start up. I've tried uninstalling, deleting all folders and reinstalling and encounter the same problem. When I click on the X program...

  • Re: Lytec vs. Medisoft vs. Other
Anyone using these? I have used Lytec in the past happily but am wondering about Medisoft.
Dr. K; I used to represent both for over 6 years. They're both good systems in their own way; meaning, I noticed a trend where users who loved Medisoft disliked Lytec....
