Introduction

CommunityServer forums can be simple single-subject, single-forum or complex groups of multiple forums grouped logically by subject, however they all work in generally the same manner.

Generally most Forums are configured to require that you a registered member before being allowed to post or reply to a post. Many Forums allow posting without pre-moderation of a post. This means that a member is sufficiently trusted to post directly to a forum without their post being checked before publication.

Some automated moderation of posts can be enabled which generally catches spam posts, posts with many hyperlinks (sometimes indicative of spam) and any banned words.
