Don- It's simple. There is NO "perfect" EMR. People don't seem to realize that EMR software is a very personal thing. The providers in a practice will work very closely with it and if the software doesn't match the doctor's personality or the work flow in the practice the EMR will be a hindrance rather than the dramatic benefit that it should be.
