That is a very good point. Many times, the physicians support staff are to blame for these data entry failures.. EMRs can help this situation by making data fields such as gender and insurance information *required fields. lroman@webdmemr.com www.webdmemr.com

It is only appropriate (and not to mention Good Practice), to link a diagnosis / lab with a prescription. It allows for proper documentation and accountability. WebDMEMR's CPOE allows linking to diagnosis, and labs in all medical orders where appropriate. lroman@webdmemr.com www.webdmemr.com
