• Re: Drop And Drag EMR

HealthcareOne's system has drag and drop and also does not require a physician to change how they do business to implement the product. In fact, no off-site training is required at all. I was so impressed with this system we became a VAR - and I'm glad I did. Selling it take only giving a demo...

  • CCHIT to certify PHRs...

From the blog... CCHIT to Certify Personal Health Records Well we knew this one could not be far behind as EHRs and EMRS go through the process and since they will be integrating data, PHRs are the next to go through the process of certification. As with other projects, they are always looking for volunteers...

  • Re: CCHIT 2008 Ambulatory Criteria

To pay an organization millions of dollars to write test cases is daylight robbery. As a system administrator of a large hospital I find the quality of the software of the leading systems downright appalling. We have a large and expensive HIS system with which I cannot change the database password for...

  • Re: CCHIT certification

From the data side of things, I feel the process will soon choke itself...and the rapid growth of technology and what's available today will begin a push coming to shove effect here. Many on the forum have made comments to the effect of not over looking those that are not certified, and technology...

  • Re: CCHIT certification

I recently commented on the process over at the blog. It is a confusing process right now just simply due to technology moving so rapidly. The EMR vendors are racing to not only to attain certifcation but also stay on top of what the market wants and will bear. It's a bit of a catch 22 of sort. There...

  • Re: EHRs: Certification doesn't mean much to most small practices

Alberto A. Borges, MD Arlington, VA
While the original intention of CCHIT was noble, the process threatens to create a Frankenstein monster that serves no master.
David L. Winn, MD CEO, e-MDs Austin, TX Q: who are these geniuses ? Saying CCHIT will make the already legacy EMRs Frakenstein...
