Stories like this are sad indeed. It comes back to the dollar and someone playing "God" to determine who gets treatment and who does not. Granted personalized medicine tests will help in time, not only from the actual treatment side, but from the information side of things as well...
Great interview from the Wall Street Journal, I guess when it comes time to go over the costs a patient gets to select to either find a method of payment if they can, or the other choice (no treatment) and we all know what the horrible results can be from there. The physicians are there to treat...
