• So many EHR options

I have been taked with finding the best EHR solution for my office. After speaking with other offices; some who have one, some that are partially electronic, and some that are still on paper like us; and all that I have found out is that there are a lot of different ways to go. It was really frustrating...

  • Re: Biting the bullet
We've initiated that process and we'll test is for usability before releasing it. I agree that "the cloud" does offer some benefits, but the benefits are not necessarily what all users want at the expense of the cost (the cloud will cost more than using...

  • Re: Linking prescriptions to a problem / diagnosis

It is only appropriate (and not to mention Good Practice), to link a diagnosis / lab with a prescription. It allows for proper documentation and accountability. WebDMEMR's CPOE allows linking to diagnosis, and labs in all medical orders where appropriate. lroman@webdmemr.com www.webdmemr.com

  • Re: Any Ideas For Making The Current And Past Medical History Easy To Capture

I would never select an inapropriate diagnosis in order to get home quicker.
This is not what I am saying. I am saying that I don't want to go through the steps you suggest as a means of getting to the diagnoses. I am trying to...

I can't say entering search criteria into a database affects usability. I think the focus should be on achieving a better quality of care, not getting you home quicker at the expense of quality.
That's because you don't...

  • Re: Serious Security Problem

I am amazed by this problem. It shouldn't even EXIST! Obviously this software is seriously lacking in the security deparment. I will offer a solution in the form of an example and also a little marketing.. ; ) WebDMEMR, like other emrs (im assuming) has permissions based security standards. Each...

... entering either the code or the first three letters of the diagnosis in the search field
No offense but this is what I am trying to avoid. Entering data in this fashion is time consuming when it has to be done repetitively. All...

  • Re: Indian non-profit mobile clinic seeking Laptops

Unfortunately I don't know of any laptops available for donation, I do however appreciate the work done by not-for-profit clinics, its refreshing to see others selflessly helping those in need. If your current EMR doesn't work out, you can try out our low cost, web-based option free for 30 days...
