• Re: What EMR system does everyone use?

Hi Desiree, Your question is an invitation for vendors like me to to invite you to demo, which I am doing, But I am going to be fair. click on the prices tab here to get some pricing info - although it is somewhat inaccurate because of the variances in features and apples to oranges comparisons. Also...

  • Re: President Obama’s Chief Technology Officer, Aneesh Chopra Gives Some Recogntion to One Note and Tablets
While the OneNote+Tablet might not be sufficient to achieve “meaningful use”, it most certainly could be a component that, when combined with other components, could deliver a physician-friendly solution that happens to also be low-cost and value-creating...

  • Re: The EMR that will save you money
The claim that the video was illegitimately pieced together and is a complete falsity. It was actually made by the folks at The Economic Report and it aired on national television. If something about it was misleading or fake I wouldn't give it my support!! [/quote...

  • Re: Scribes may be the answer to EMR adoption
For the specialist, it is faster to point and click than to dictate.
In an alternate universe. If that were true there would be near 100% adoption by specialists now. What we have is EMR adoption heavily weighted to specialist because they are least inconvenienced...

  • Revolution Health abandons PHR.

Revolution Health was the project by one of the former founders of Amazon. It was an online patient health record and one of the first. It has been around for years. It is also very well developed piece of software, doing all that a PHR should do. Anyway, they are abandoning the concept and telling the...

  • Solo Primary Care and Specialist EMRs

We have just been booking marketing for Medscribbler at CMEs and Annual meetings plus print ads and have detected an interesting development that is very telling on a lot of things: EMR vendors, collection of ARRA funds, technological innovation etc. For the meetings like the ACP (mainly Internists)...

  • Re: EMR training - Is there a better way?
We've had manuals and nobody read them. They didn't even want them around as clutter. We created videos and some people watched them. They were built right into the product and when we created a new one, it was easily downloaded into the library at any user's...

  • Re: Primary Care and EMR

The cycle idea is interesting, but it is not so much cycle as demographics. Amazing Charts has survived because it is focused on a model for solo primary care. Unfortunately, they are now CCHIT certified and have added so many add-ons etc to make up for the lack of robust functions they really are not...

  • Re: ASP Solutions - Are they ready for prime time?

ASP and SaaS models do have their challenges. ASP is a dead end because of it is limited to browser stability and development. SaaS is now but it is not going to be the future. There are several new technologies, I am not going to name them as right now most of our competitors have no idea, that will...

  • Re: New SHARP Funding Tools in the Shed
I've heard Medscribbler can do all that... surprised I haven't seen a post related to that on this thread.... yet...
I guess you can say I get a "little" exuberant in describing Medscribbler The thing is, I believed and believe, from day one...
