  • Re: Student needs used medisoft advanced ver 9

I have a Medisoft Demo posted at the bottom of this page: http://www.medtechsys.net/patient_accounting.htm . The demo is version 11, but it contains all the functions of version 9 with a few extra features. The demo is limited to just 24 patients, so as long as you don't have to enter more patients...

  • Re: EMR & Medisoft

I've written a little test program that opens up an existing ODBC DSN named "medisoft" and prints 10 records to the screen. It also then tests the synapse odbc connection ... but you can ignore that. It works on Medisoft 14 ... anyone wish to try it on earlier version? It can be downloaded...

You can use ODBC or OLEDB. You will find the drivers for these on the Medisoft disk. Regardless of which way you go, you must log in with a username and password. Accessing by field offset would certainly be a hard way to go when you have a data dictionary and OLEDB at your fingertips.

The two companies announced on Feb. 25 that they had signed a letter of intent for MediNotes...

  • Big Brother is Watching You! CCHIT: The hidden agenda.

My EMR, MediSoft/MediNotes, is wholly contained on my office computers. That was one of my selection criteria back in 2003. It looks like MediSoft is brain dead and I will be forced to eventually migrate to an integrated, CCHIT compliant, EMR/PM. Ah ha! Do you think .... The real issue behind CCHIT is...

  • Re: Has MediSoft been put out to pasture?

The product is still being developed, but it is the same team that develops both Medisoft and Lytec. They are currently in the process of relocating the entire Medisoft office from Gilbert, AZ to Alpharetta, GA. I am sure that is a major distraction for everyone involved yet it looks like they are going...

Version 12 is in the works, but all you need is version 11 service pack 3. The target date for the service pack 3 release is later this month. The Medisoft service pack
